Dairy Farm Operations & Management

Dairy Farm Operations & Management

Learn the practical management of a modern dairy farm. Understand cattle selection, housing, feeding, fodder planning, milking hygiene, breeding basics, calf management, herd health, records, waste management and farm economics. Develop skills required to operate, supervise or plan a small-to-commercial dairy enterprise efficiently.

Level 04 – AELP. Agriculture Experiential Learning Program. Practical, Project-Based and Experiential Skill Training.

This program connects daily dairy work—feeding, milking, calf care, and record keeping—with the decisions that keep a herd productive and a unit financially manageable. You work through real farm scenarios so you can supervise staff, improve routines, or plan a small-to-commercial dairy with clearer standards for hygiene, nutrition, and biosecurity. Training is experiential skill development; it is not a veterinary qualification or a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis and treatment.
